Our mechanically ground Prickly Pear SEED FLOUR is made from locally wildharvested prickly pear seeds.
Once dehydrated, the seeds are separated from the fruit pulp. The whole, unwashed seeds (to preserve the juice adhering to the seeds) are then stored whole and ground fresh prior to packaging.
Prickly Pear Seed Flour is a coarse flour that is naturally gluten free and can be used in your favorite GF recipes for added nutrition (healthy fats and protein) at 5-15% of your regularly used flour.
