Shipping policy

Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. During holiday seasons or other extenuating circumstances, delays of up to 5-7 business days may be experienced. Although, our objective is to process all orders as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.

 

Shipping Times

We ship from our production facility located in Tucson, AZ. We currently ship to the United States of America, Canada, and several European countries. 

Shipping times vary depending upon the service chosen by the customer at checkout. The quickest shipping times may be 1-2 days, and USPS first class shipping may take up to 5 days.

International shipping times vary depending on the service chosen (DHL, UPS, USPS). The expected shipping times are listed alongside each option provided.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on the service chosen and the distance being shipped. These "lives rates" are provided to the customer at checkout once the shipping address has been entered. 

Currently, all orders over $49 qualify for free domestic shipping. We do not currently offer any free international shipping. If a free shipping option is provided for an international customer at checkout, we will need to invoice the customer for the shipping costs or cancel the order so the customer can replace it with the appropriate shipping option chosen. 

 

Local Pickup 

We currently offer a free local pickup service at our production facility in Tucson. This service is currently offered upon request, by appointment only. Please see our Google listing for updates on the dates and times this service will be available.

At checkout, simply select the Local Pickup option to proceed. Once the order is place, the customer will  receive an email notification with instructions on how to proceed to pickup once a notice of their order being ready is received. Second, the customer will receive an email notification stating that their order is ready to be picked up. We attempt to turn these around as quickly as possible, notifying the customer as quickly as possible so they can plan accordingly.

 

Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations

Full satisfaction is guaranteed on all of our products, so returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase on all opened and unopened products. A 20% restocking fee will apply. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout.

Exchanges can be made for items of equal or lesser value, but for items of greater value then the customer will be invoiced for the difference. Once the returned item has been received at our facility, and any difference has been paid, then the items will be shipped.

 

Order changes or cancellations are not currently supported. Once your order is placed it is to be presumed to have entered our processing queue and we cannot offer any cancellations at that time.

 

In order to protect your shipment from loss, theft, or damage we strongly suggest choosing Route Shipping Protection at checkout. Your shipment is 100% guaranteed if you choose this service. If you do not choose this service, your shipment is not guaranteed against loss, theft, or damage by Desert Forager LLC.  

Once purchased, you will receive a notification email from Route with tracking info and how to handle any lost, theft, or damage of your package. All communications regarding loss, theft, or damage of your package will be handled through Route, not with Desert Forager.
